About The Job
DHI are looking for talented Frontend developers to develop, improve, test, and continuously deliver quality code.
You will be part of global team, working closely with the UI/UX design team to ensure the technical feasibility of design, and collaborating with other experts team such as Backend developers, DevOps and Cloud engineers to create a fully functional high-quality product.
You will contribute to DHIs global community of front-end developers to ensure front-ends of the top level industry standard.
Responsibilities
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX design
• Writing clean, scalable, and testable code of high quality
• Build and continuously improve reusable code and libraries
• Collaborate with UI/UX team and Product Owners to build a customer-oriented user experience
• Build advanced user interfaces for maximum performance and scalability
Education and Experiences:
• A B.Sc. or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other relevant discipline
• 3+ years of working experience developing mid to large scale web application system for on-premises and/or cloud environment deployment
• Experience with at least with one development cycle under Agile methodology (SCRUM) and shipping a high-quality product
Skills and Qualifications:
• Proficient knowledge of basic web stacks, HTML5, CSS3 and vanilla JavaScript
• Proficient in advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks with ReactJS, TypeScript and ES6/Next.
• Experience and understanding of JavaScript linting tools, such as ESLint, JSLint, JSHint
• Good knowledge of frontend management assets tool, such as NPM, Yarn, Webpack, Babel
• Experience with one or more web map framework, like Google Map API, Leaflet, Mapbox, OSM
• Familiarity with other frontend related technologies stack, such as NodeJS, GraphQL and Javascript testing tools is an advantage
• Knowledge of frontend CSS frameworks, such as Material UI, Bootstrap, Tailwind
• Understanding of CSS pre-processor platforms such as SASS or LESS is an advantage.
• Understanding of version control, such as GIT or Mercurial
• Familiarity with cloud environments such as Azure, AWS or GCP is an advantage
